Design is critical in our everyday lives. From subway maps and highway signage to retail signage and office building wayfinding systems, without design, it would be much harder to orient ourselves. Zigzag has done a wide array of environmental design projects, from art exhibit signage and design to trade show exhibits to safety signage for a major oil company. Each project requires considerable due diligence, understanding the client's aims and needs, as well as understanding how users will most easily read and understand what is being conveyed. Environmental design also requires close collaboration with the signage fabricator and understanding of the various substrates and materials used in the manufacture of signs.
Below are six widely varied examples of environmental design we've done. Click on the images to view an enlarged images.
