The role of branding is to identify, in as clear and simple a manner as possible, who this company or organization is, what its aspirations and mission are, and who its potential clientele might be. It requires of the designer a lot of due diligence, including learning as much as possible about the business or organization: its product(s), its role in the community or other region, its history and future, its competition, its clients or members, and its potential clients or members, among other things. The logo is the soul of a brand and its most public-facing aspect. Simple, clear, communicative, and evocative design is required.

When we design a logo for a client, we do our homework, working closely with the client, then provide several concepts. When a final design is agreed upon, we provide the logo in horizontal and vertical formats, if needed, and with variations for print and web. We also provide Pantone palettes, appropriate complementary typeface suggestions for marketing collateral, and other guidance for use of the logo. If part of the brief, we design stationery systems. We have also done signage and wayfinding systems congruent with the branding program, as well as new marketing materials that incorporate the new brand, ensuring our clients the best kind of public relations going forward as they deploy their new brand.

Below are a few branding campaigns we've done. Click on the images to learn more about each.
